Tempo is more than speed
A useful tempo keeps the backswing, transition, and finish in a repeatable sequence. Swinging faster does not help if the sequence changes on every ball.

Hold the finish
Make slow practice swings and hold each finish for three seconds. If you cannot stay balanced, reduce effort until the motion becomes repeatable.

Compare under the same conditions
Keep the club, target, and camera angle the same for 10 balls. Consistency makes it easier to separate a real pattern from one unusual swing.
